Qualicat is a catalogue of Irish qualitative research. If you have conducted Irish qualitative research yourself, you can add your own record by logging into this site and then proceeding to the deposit data page. Adding information about your own research will enable you to make connections with others interested in your work. In future, you will also be able to access the qualitative data contained in the IQDA archive from this page. More information on the data we are currently preparing for archiving can be found here.

Browse Qualibase Data Records
The IQDA will soon become a host to a comprehensive archive of Irish qualitative data. Registered members will have access to interview transcripts, surveys and other data. Users will also be able to upload data associated with their research to share with other registered members. More information on the data we are currently preparing for archiving can be found here.

The archive contains over 6000 images captured by staff at the IQDA and NIRSA. The images are organised by category and geographical location. More images will be added in the future. Browse Ned Cassidy Photographic Archive
The IQDA in association with the IARC is pleased to present the Ned Cassidy photographic archive. This archive of over 30,000 images spans three decades and provides an insight into the changes of modern Irish society. For further information, check out our information page. We are presently in the process of digitizing the remaining images. Once digitized, they will uploaded for viewing.

Our powerful search facility allows you to efficiently find the records that you need. Researchers can search by using keywords, title, location, time-period and more. There is also a map search available that allows for greater flexibility when searching by location.
